Commission Terms & Conditions
Thank you so much for your interest in my artwork. I truly appreciate your support. By placing a commission, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Available Commission Types
Hand-Painted Character Apparel: Unique character artwork hand-painted onto apparel.
To ensure quality and durability, all t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other garments will be selected and provided by the artist.
Digital Illustration: Stylized character design created digitally.
Estimated Turnaround:
Hand-Painted Apparel: 3-5 weeks
Digital Illustration: 3-5 weeks
Completion times vary depending on the commission type, current workload, and communication throughout the process. All turnaround times are estimates and may be subject to change. If you need your commission by a specific date (such as a birthday, holiday, or special event), please let me know before ordering. While I will always do my best to accommodate deadlines, completion dates cannot be guaranteed.
Communication Delays: Delayed responses during the sketch and approval stages may extend the overall turnaround time. If a client becomes unresponsive for more than 90 days during the sketching process, the commission may be considered abandoned. In such cases, the artist reserves the right to cancel the commission without a refund.
Revisions
Each commission includes up to three minor revisions during the sketch phase. Additional revisions may be available for $10 per revision, depending on the complexity of the requested changes. Once painting or final rendering begins, significant changes may no longer be possible.
Refunds & Cancellations
During the Sketch Phase: You may cancel your commission and receive a refund. However, if a client becomes unresponsive for more than 90 days during the sketch phase, the commission may be considered abandoned, and a refund will not be issued.
After Final Work Begins: Refunds are no longer available once the approved sketch phase has ended and final artwork production has begun.
Completed Artwork: No refunds will be issued after completion.
If I Am Unable to Complete the Commission: You will receive a full refund.
Artist’s Right to Refuse Service: The artist reserves the right to decline or cancel any commission request for any reason. If a commission is declined after payment has been made and work has not begun, a full refund will be issued.
Delivery
Physical artwork and apparel will be shipped to the address provided by the client. While I carefully package all orders, I am not responsible for shipping delays, loss, theft, or damage once the package has been handed over to the shipping carrier. However, if an item arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact me within 7 days of delivery and provide photographs of the damage so we can discuss a possible resolution. Digital artwork will be delivered electronically via email.
Copyright & Usage
All artwork remains the intellectual property and copyrighted work of the artist unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Commissioned artwork is for personal, non-commercial use only. The artist reserves the right to display commissioned artwork for portfolio, promotional, and social media purposes. Clients may share the artwork on personal social media accounts. However, clients may not alter the artwork, claim it as their own, reproduce it for sale, create merchandise from it, use it for commercial purposes, or otherwise profit from it without the artist’s prior written permission.
Additional Terms
Final Approval: Before shipping physical artwork or apparel, the client will receive a photograph of the completed piece for review. This review is intended to confirm completion and overall accuracy. Major revisions are not available at this stage. Minor adjustments may be made at the artist’s discretion.
Privacy Requests: If the client does not wish for their commission to be shared publicly, this request must be made before final work begins.
Framing: All commissions are delivered unframed unless otherwise stated. Decorative frames shown in website listings and mockups are for display purposes only and are not included with your purchase.
Agreement
By placing a commission, you confirm that:
• You have read and agree to these terms.
• You understand the payment, timeline, revision, and refund policies.
• You will not use the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission.
• You understand that all completion dates are estimates and not guarantees.
